About Arukah

Hi, I’m Rebecca.

In 2003, my husband and I moved to Australia, where we were blessed with three wonderful daughters. Perth is our home, and we feel incredibly grateful to live in this beautiful part of the world. I love spending time with my family, reading, and enjoying moments of quiet.

Exploring pottery making is my new passion, and I have just started creating my own pieces. Pottery making, with its transformative nature, serves as a beautiful metaphor for life’s journey, constantly evolving and shaping us. I see in every individual inherent value, yet life’s struggles can cloud that sense of worth and can bring feelings of hopelessness. I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges with care and compassion, guiding you towards a path of wholeness, recovery, and restoration.

“My goal is to bridge the gap in mental health support, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, feels empowered to seek the help they need.”

About Arukah Counselling & Family Therapy

The word Arukah is Hebrew and means:

“Health, restoring to soundness and wholeness”.

During a peaceful walk in the park one day along this winding path, the words of Psalm 23:3 resonated with me: “He restores my soul and guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake.” It reminded me of the privilege I have as a Christian counsellor to witness the restoration journeys of others. Just as the path in this park provided me with direction and hope that I would reach a safe place soon, I’m here to offer gentle support and counselling as you navigate life’s pathways, helping you find healing, restoration, and wholeness along the way.

So, when you encounter “Arukah,” think of therapy that encompasses healing, recovery, and the restoration of well-being. In a world where so much has been lost, forgotten, wounded and forsaken, the human heart genuinely longs for restoration.
